Explain the following terms with reference to the game of Basketball: (i) Time out (ii) Pivot

(i) Time out: an interruption of the game requested by the coach or the assistant coach to stop play for a short period of 1 minute, to discuss tactics or rest the players. (ii) Pivot: a movement in which a player holding the ball steps once or more in any direction with the same foot, while the other foot (the pivot foot) stays at its point of contact with the floor.
