About Prashnika
Who runs it
Prashnika is made by Anant, an ISC Class 12 student, as a free place to practise past ISC papers. It is an independent resource: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by CISCE.
Where the questions come from
Every question is from a real CISCE paper: board papers, specimen papers, improvement papers and Competency Focused Questions (CFQ). The site has 124 papers and 4,616 questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Education, Computer Science, English Literature, English Language. Each question is copied from the paper with its printed number, marks and figures, and links back to the paper it came from. The questions are © CISCE.
How the answers are written and checked
The answers are written with the help of AI (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude), and every answer is marked "AI" on the site. They are not published unchecked:
- The site works out arithmetic, Boolean algebra, truth tables and Karnaugh maps itself, and checks the answer against them.
- Java programs are run for real, and the output shown is the program's actual output.
- Chemical equations are checked for balance, and formula steps for units.
- English Literature answers are written from the set texts, and their quotations are checked against the text.
- An answer the checks flag stays off the site until it is fixed, and the owner reviews answers in the site's review panel.
Mistakes still happen. Every question has a "Report" button: reports and better answers sent by students are read and fixed by hand.

Privacy
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits (pages viewed, rough location, device), which sets cookies. There are no accounts and no ads. Your theme, Lite mode and the questions you pick for a PDF are kept only in your own browser. A report or answer you send is stored with the name you give, if any, so it can be reviewed.
