AIFollow on: the captain of the team that batted first may ask the opposing team to bat again immediately, if the side batting second has scored sufficiently fewer runs in its first innings.
1. In a match of five days or more, the lead must be at least 200 runs.
2. In a three-day or four-day match, the lead must be at least 150 runs.
3. In a two-day match, the lead must be at least 100 runs, and in a one-day match, at least 75 runs.
