AI(i) Ball tampering: illegally altering the condition of the ball (for example by scratching, lifting the seam, applying a substance or using an object) to gain an unfair advantage for the bowlers, such as more swing.
(ii) Sweep: a horizontal-batted shot played to a slow, full or good-length ball, in which the batsman goes down on one knee and sweeps the ball square on the leg side along the ground or in the air.
