AI(a) Reverse stick: A skill or technique in which the player rotates their wrists 180 degrees so that the flat face of the hockey stick is turned to the left side of the body. This allows a right-handed stick user to hit, push, or dribble the ball on their left side while striking only with the flat face or the legal edge of the stick.
(b) Long corner: A restart awarded to the attacking team when the ball is unintentionally played over the backline by a defender. The ball is placed on the 23-metre line, in line with the point where the ball crossed the backline, and play is restarted with a free hit (or self-pass) following standard free hit rules.
