(a) Powerplay: In limited-overs cricket (such as ODIs and T20Is), a Powerplay is a set of designated fielding restriction overs. During a mandatory Powerplay (e.g., the first 10 overs in an ODI or first 6 overs in a T20I), a maximum of two fielders are permitted outside the 30-yard fielding circle. This rule is designed to encourage aggressive batting and scoring in the opening phase of an innings. (b) Googly: A googly (also known as a 'wrong'un' or 'Bosey') is a deceptive delivery bowled by a right-arm leg-spin bowler. Although delivered with an action that appears like a standard leg-break, the ball is released from the back of the hand with clockwise wrist-spin, causing it to turn from off to leg into a right-handed batter rather than spinning away.
