Service is a fault when (any five): 1. The server commits a foot fault. 2. The ball touches the net and falls out of the service court. 3. The ball lands outside the correct service court. 4. The server misses the ball while trying to strike it. 5. The ball touches a permanent fixture, the server's partner or the umpire before bouncing. 6. The server serves out of turn or from the wrong side. 7. The ball hits the server or his partner.
