AI(a) Jamming: A strategic shot or serve hit directly toward the receiver's body or dominant hip/torso. By forcing the opponent into cramped positioning, it prevents them from extending their arms, severely restricting their swing mechanics and inducing a weak return.
(b) Lob shot: A high-arcing stroke hit over the head of an opponent who is positioned close to the net. A defensive lob is used to buy recovery time, while an offensive topspin lob aims to bounce deep near the baseline to win the point outright.
