AI(i) Control room supervisor: the official who is in charge of the control room, who checks the timing and scoring equipment, the results and the placing of swimmers, and ensures that the results are recorded correctly.
(ii) Individual medley: a race in which one swimmer swims all four strokes in the order butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, each for an equal distance (for example 200 m, 50 m each).
