(ii) Back gallery
(iii) Foot fault
(iv) Love all
(v) Rotation
Answer
Answer
AI(i) Short service line: the line 1.98 m from the net on each side of the court, which the serve must cross.
(ii) Back gallery: the area between the back boundary line and the long service line for doubles, which is 0.76 m wide; it is out for the doubles serve but in play during the rally.
(iii) Foot fault: a fault in serving or receiving, in which a player's feet are not in contact with the court, or not within the service court, until the shuttle is hit.
(iv) Love all: the score at the start of a game, when both sides have zero points.
(v) Rotation: the change of service courts by the side that wins the rally in doubles, so that the server serves from the correct court as per the score.
