Hockey: answer in detail.
Write the procedure followed for the start and the restart of a match of hockey.
Answer
Answer
AIStart of the match:
1. The match is started by a pass-back (push or hit) from the centre of the field by a player of the team that wins the toss or is chosen to start.
2. All players, except the one taking the pass-back, must be in their own half of the field; opponents must be at least 5 m from the ball.
3. The ball must be played back (towards the player's own side) and not past the centre line in front.
Restart:
1. The second half is restarted with a centre pass by the team that did not start the match, after the teams change ends.
2. After a goal is scored, play is restarted with a centre pass by the team that conceded the goal.
3. Players are in their own half and the opponents are at least 5 m away when the pass is taken.
