AI(i) Shooting circle: the D-shaped area in front of each goal, marked by a line 3.66 m long, parallel to the goal line, 14.63 m from it, and joined by quarter circles to the goal line. A goal can be scored only from within this circle.
(ii) Bully: a method of starting or restarting play, in which two opposing players stand facing each other, tap the ground on their own side and the sticks of each other three times alternately, and then try to play the ball.
