AI(i) An advantage is given when the score is at deuce (40-all) and a player wins the next point. If that player wins the following point as well, he or she wins the game; if the opponent wins it, the score returns to deuce.
(ii) A cross court shot is a stroke played diagonally across the court, from one side to the opposite side of the opponent's court.
