Service faults in volleyball: 1. The server steps on or over the end line (or into the court) while serving. 2. The server fails to serve within 8 seconds of the referee's whistle. 3. The ball does not cross the net, or touches the antenna or goes outside the crossing space. 4. The ball touches a player of the serving team, or goes under the net. 5. A foot fault, or a service out of turn (rotation fault). 6. Tossing or releasing the ball and failing to hit it, or hitting it with two hands.
