ISC Class 12 Physical Education Paper Pattern
The ISC Class 12 Physical Education theory paper (Paper I) is 70 marks in three hours, with fifteen questions in three sections: a compulsory objective Section A, five 5-mark questions in Section B, and in Section C a 15-mark question on each of nine games, of which you answer two. The practical is another 30 marks.

What the question paper says
- There are fifteen questions in three sections. Section A (one question of fifteen sub-parts) and Section B (five questions) are compulsory.
- In Section C each of the nine questions is worth 15 marks and is on one game; attempt all the subparts of a question on any two games.
- In a multiple-choice question write only one correct option as the answer.
- You get 15 minutes of reading time; writing is not allowed during it.
The practical and project marks
The practical work is 30 marks and no question paper is set for it. 10 marks are for continuous evaluation by the teacher in two games or activities of your choice (file work 4, participation and performance 3, physical efficiency tests 3). 20 marks are for the practical evaluation by the visiting examiner: physical efficiency tests 12, specialisation tests 6 and viva-voce 2.
