(20) The stitching took only a few minutes and by the end of it, Jake was bright-eyed and alert, paws shifting impatiently, ready for anything.

Adapted from: James Herriot's Favorite Dog Stories. It was a very pleasant day in Darrowby and the dog was completely healed and happy. This is a story about a brave vet who saved a dog.
Read the passage given below and answer the questions (a), (b) and (c) that follow:
